Hello there. It takes a lot of courage to reach out for help and I applaud you getting this far. Your mental health may be impacting you physically, emotionally, socially, or occupationally and the journey towards wholeness can start today. Traumatic experiences have the innate ability to shape the way you view yourself, others, and the world around you. Healing from these experiences may be one of the hardest things you ever do but it could be the most rewarding. Nevertheless, it would be my honor to walk alongside you however long that process may be.

After completing my undergraduate degree at MSU Mankato, I began working in a mental health program for adolescents. The joy that I found in serving others eventually led me to become a therapist. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bethany Lutheran College. Even though my schooling as trained me in how to integrate one’s Christian faith into the counseling experience, the inclusion or exclusion of faith is always the choice of the client with no judgment. In our sessions, you could expect an approach to therapy that is based on your needs. I have great experience in incorporating emotion regulation skills, social skills, CBT topics, DBT topics, and trauma-informed care into appointments. My hope is that you always leave encouraged and with new tools to better take on the challenges life provides.

When I am away from the office, I love spending time with my wife and my goldendoodle as they bring me so much joy. You can often find me making music, serving in my church, playing video games, or playing pickleball. I look forward to meeting you!
