With a deep commitment to helping individuals navigate the challenges of substance use and recovery, I bring over 10 years of experience to the APS team. I graduated from Minnesota State University Mankato, in 2015 and hold degrees in both Alcohol and Drug Studies and Food and Nutrition. I believe in a holistic approach to wellness-supporting not just mental and emotional health, but physical wellbeing too. Throughout my 10 years in the substance use disorder field, I have worked with diverse populations in a number of settings, including residential and outpatient co-occurring programs, with both adolescents and adults. I have worked with individuals from all walks of life, and I am grateful to be able to learn and grow with each new connection made. My approach centers on empathy, trust, collaboration, and creating space for clients to rediscover their strength and self-worth. I believe that recovery is about more than abstinence – it’s about rediscovering purpose, connection, and a healthy relationship within oneself.
When not working with clients, I enjoy spending quality time with the people who matter most to me. Ideally, you will find me spending time with family, soaking up sunshine at the lake, and spending time outdoors. I was raised by a die-hard hockey family and have recently been promoted to the role of hockey mom. Being creative is my favorite form of self-care, along with reading and enjoying a giant iced coffee.
I am grateful to be part of a team that is dedicated to fostering growth, resilience, and recovery for every individual.
