I am a licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC) and a registered expressive arts therapist (REAT) with a PhD in clinical psychology, board-certified in both art therapy (ATR-BC) and music therapy (MT-BC), over 30 years of experience, and special expertise in the Enneagram personality typing system, Jungian sand tray therapy, dreamwork, human shadow work, career-life planning, human sexuality, neuroaesthetics, and integrating non-ordinary experiences. I divide my solo practice between teaching, clinical supervision, writing and psychotherapy on a virtual Zoom platform.

My intuitive, integrally-informed, heart-based approach leverages expressive healing modalities and cultivates imagination as a powerful tool for insight, experiential learning and problem-solving.

In my view, the goals of the therapeutic relationship are to guide and facilitate your self-awareness, growth and healing. I frequently employ assessment instruments and creative strategies to practice outside the therapy session, although our time together is primarily driven by finding alignment with your personal therapeutic goals, so homework is always optional. On the other hand, your gains will depend upon the effort you put into therapy, and bravely stepping outside your usual comfort zone generally offers tremendous gains.
